I don't do New Year's resolutions. There's snow on the ground in January and one can't really turn a new leaf because there are no leaves on the trees to begin with. I do turn a year older around the middle of every January, so I look at the year past and plan for the new year to show I'm not only getting older but also wiser.
Of course, Bling Boheme is an important part of those plans, and this is how things will be changing around here.

Bling Boheme is introducing a new way to shop on our website -- you can now set your own prices on my 2025 designs. I trust those who can pay the full price will do so, and those who can't will have a chance to get a piece or two at the price they can afford. I'm not in the business of making jewelry to become filthy rich. I am making jewelry because, in my opinion, life without creativity is not worth much, and because I feel the need to bring beauty into this world that desperately needs it.

Bling Boheme won't have any "traditional" sale events this year. Instead, prices will only be reduced when certain jewelry styles are being discontinued, so if you're waiting to shop when things are on sale, you might be waiting for a long time.

The new collection is coming, but it won't be released in one huge launch event. I'll be releasing new collection segments to track with the seasonal shifts and jewelry shopping holidays: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, mid-September, and early November. No wonder the new collection is named "Seasons."
THE STORY BEHIND THE SEASONS COLLECTION
At the beginning of each year, I come up with a "word of the year," which guides me in all my creative work for the next 12 months. That word for the year 2026 is "Bloom." Think of it as, "bloom where you're planted," or "blooms from the seeds sown a long time ago." Contemplating blooms lead me to consider what causes blooming in nature, and that in turn lead to the concept of seasons.
Nature reliably cycles through seasons every year: spring, summer, fall, winter. We as human beings go through seasons in life as well. All of us are "seasoned" by our age and experiences: seasons of joy and seasons of sadness... seasons of productivity and seasons of barrenness... seasons of heightened energy and seasons of dormancy...
My new jewelry collection is designed to be both a reflection of and a companion for those times in our lives.
With this collection, I am returning to my roots in textile design. In addition to Bling Boheme standard, high quality .925 sterling silver, the styles in this collection will feature plant-dyed, cruelty-free silk shaped into blooms of different colors to help you bloom in whatever season of life you find yourself.
In a world that promotes sameness and elevates the unremarkable shades of dirty white and beige, Seasons collection will let you express the vibrancy of life in any of its seasons.
